My name is Ahmet Sabri Gül, and I am the Managing Director of Macstoff.

My journey in the railway industry began with the inspiration of my grandfather, who started working as a motion officer for the State Railways in 1959. My father later followed in his footsteps, and as a result, I spent much of my childhood around trains and wagons—an environment that sparked a deep passion for this field from an early age.

I began my professional career in the railway sector and, in 2014, earned my first formal qualification: a Level 2 Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) certification in four branches. This allowed me to perform inspections and quality control services across numerous companies. In 2018, I transitioned into a technical manager role at a company manufacturing external lock mechanisms. By 2020, I had the opportunity to contribute as an R&D and production assistant manager in a project focused on the installation of ATS systems in high-speed train passenger wagons.

With a commitment to personal and professional growth, I took a significant step in 2022 and founded Macstoff—driven by my passion for the industry and a vision of excellence.

Today, Macstoff operates across four key locations: Manchester, Istanbul, Bursa, and Konya. We maintain 20 workbenches, employ nearly 50 skilled professionals, and operate within a combined closed production area of 8,000 m².

Quality has always been our top priority. Operating in a sector where precision and reliability are non-negotiable, we utilize CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) technology to ensure accurate measurements and consistently high standards. Our ongoing investments in quality control reflect our dedication to delivering excellence.

We take pride in our customer-focused approach, always striving to be a reliable partner and problem-solver for our clients. In addition, we have established a strong and lasting business partnership with Milburg, a UK-based company, which has enabled us to expand into the European market.
