The Bogie Test Machine simulates how a bogie behaves under load and evaluates its strength through different test scenarios, so possible failures are detected early and maintenance is planned on time. It is designed for maintenance and repair workshops, manufacturing plants and R&D laboratories.
Load is applied by a hydraulic cylinder on a high-strength steel main frame; precision load sensors measure the load and stress on the bogie. A PLC control system runs the test automatically, and software records and analyses the data.
Test data is shown in real time on a 10-inch colour touchscreen. A fault diagnosis and warning system, per-user settings, an emergency stop button and a safety lock come as standard.
