The FTC-2400 connects to the brake pipe coupling of the wagon; it charges the brake pipe, lowers and raises pressure along defined gradients, and records the response of the wagon with multi-channel pressure measurement.
Pressure profiles depend on PLC-driven proportional pressure regulation, not on the operator's hand. The same test is applied the same way by different operators, and every test becomes an archivable record.
Automatic test sequences evaluate against UIC 540 and UIC 543-1 criteria and support the VPI-EMG Br 0 / Br 2 / Br 3 test profiles.
