The machine consists of a main frame, a piston, a power unit, a safety guard and a main control unit, and runs manually or automatically. The operator selects a buffer or spring test and the test parameters are set automatically.
The specimen is placed on the piston axis and the test is started from the main screen. Progress and results are shown live; at the end the machine stops automatically and shows whether the part passed against the defined criteria. Results are saved and can be printed with a performance graph.
Opening the safety guard puts the system in a safe state; emergency stop releases the load through a valve and cuts the power. Macstoff installs the machine, and installation, first start-up and operation are covered in videos linked by QR codes.
